Arlon is excited to be sponsoring the Great Gorilla Project that will be featured at the Paignton Zoo in Paignton, Devon, South West, UK from Friday, the 18th – Sunday, the 20th of October, 2013. The goal of the project is to showcase local Exeter artistic talent and make the public aware of the significant conservation threat facing wild gorillas.
For 10 weeks during this summer, life-size gorilla sculptures will inhabit the streets, parks, and open spaces in the area.
The sculptures will be auctioned off for charity on Wednesday, November 6th, 2013.
All wrapped gorillas will be wrapped using Arlon's DPF 6000XRP cast film, which will be used because of its superior conformability and stretch.
“We are pleased to be sponsoring the Great Gorilla Project”, says David Neidell, Director of Arlon Europe. “This is a meaningful event, and we are glad that we can lend a hand in this cause, create awareness, and provide the charity with some support, with uniquely decorated statues for the auction.”
