Arlon Materials for Electronics (MED), a Division of WHX Corporation, is a major manufacturer of specialty high performance laminate and prepreg materials for use in a wide variety of PCB (printed circuit board) applications. These applications typically require laminates with specialized electrical, thermal, mechanical, or other performance characteristic that exceed those of traditional standard FR-4 materials. With origins that start in 1895 in Newark, DE as Continental-Diamond Fibre, a history that includes the first processor of PTFE outside of DuPont and the first sale of an RF & Microwave Laminate, we offer 59+ years experience with PTFE based microwave laminates and 35+ years experience making Polyimide & Specialty Epoxy Laminates.
