Arlon designs and produces flexible circuit materials for
electronic interconnects, heating elements and custom applications.
Arlon provides laminates in a variety of constructions that
combine metal foils, such as aluminum, stainless steel and
electro-deposited and rolled copper with dielectric materials
including polyimide, polyester, and aramid films.
Arlon
also produces adhesive coatings applied to films and foils.
Applications for these circuit materials include Bus Bar insulation for
insulating power distribution components for large scale digital
equipment, hard board circuits, commercial flexible circuitry, and
electronics jumper cables. Arlon can engineer thin film laminates and
flexible printed circuit substrates in almost limitless combinations
for any number of applications.

Arlon Materials for Electronics Division
(MED), a major manufacturer of specialty high performance laminate and
prepreg materials for use in a variety of PCB (printed circuit board)
applications. These applications typically require laminates with
specialized electrical, thermal, mechanical, or other performance
characteristic that exceed those of traditional standard FR-4
materials.
Arlon MED is comprised of 2 product groups: Electronic Substrates and Microwave Materials
Arlon Silicon Technologies Division has been a leader in silicone technologies since 1954, specializing in precision-calendered composites and extruded tapes. From thermal insulation pads and molded heat shields for aircraft, aerospace, and automotive applications, to high temperature substrates for flexible heaters, ducting, and motor coil insulation, Arlon offers the highest performance silicone solutions.
